The reason for this site accessing patient GP records is:
GP Connect makes the full patient record available for healthcare professionals handling calls made to NHS 111 and 999 to view as part of providing assistance to the patient. GP Connect can also be used to book a patient into an appointment at their registered practice or another service for onward care.
Paramedics may also have GP Connect access in the ambulance.
